Introduction to HTRI- Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Design

About Course
HTRI is the leading source of process heat transfer software. HTRI technology has been used by companies worldwide for decades to help them design, operate, and maintain heat exchangers and fired heaters. Xchanger Suite is software for the rating, simulation, and/or design of a wide variety of heat transfer equipment, including shell-and-tube and non-tubular exchangers, air coolers and economizers, and fired heaters.
Xace® is an incremental program that rates, simulates, and designs crossflow heat exchangers, such as air coolers and heat recovery bundles.
Xist® is an incremental program that contains HTRI’s latest pointwise methods based on extensive shellside and tubeside condensation, boiling, and single-phase data.
Xfh® gives you the ability to simulate the performance of cylindrical and boxed heaters.
Xphe® gives you the ability to simulate the performance of Plate and Frame heat exchangers.
Xpfe® gives you the ability to simulate the performance of Plate Fin heat exchangers.
Xvib® performs flow-induced vibration analysis of a single tube in a heat exchanger bundle.
Xspe® is an incremental program that lets you quickly and easily predict the thermal-hydraulic performance of single-phase spiral plate exchangers.
Xjpe® gives you the ability to simulate the performance of Jacketed pipe heat exchangers.
Xhpe® gives you the ability to simulate the performance of Hair pin heat exchangers.
In this tutorial we will discuss about Shell and tube Heat Exchanger.
